Service Description

A CCW class assumes your firearm will work every time, and that you'll have two good hands to run it. Module 5 is where you prepare for the encounter that doesn't go that way. This course trains you to maintain defensive capability when confronted with equipment failures or physical limitations, covering immediate and remedial actions to clear common pistol malfunctions, such as click-no-bangs, stovepipes, and double feeds, performed under the same stress and time pressure a real defensive encounter creates. You'll also develop single-handed shooting proficiency from multiple positions and presentations, including draws from concealment, so you can continue to engage a threat effectively if one hand is injured or otherwise unavailable. Training culminates in realistic drills and assessments that reinforce fault recovery, resilience, and the ability to sustain controlled, accurate fire in adverse conditions, the kind of moment no CCW class ever prepares you for.
