Defensive Pistol Program - Module 5
Malfunctions & Single-Handed Shooting
Available spots
Service Description
Malfunctions & Single-Handed Shooting, trains students to maintain defensive capability when confronted with equipment failures or physical limitations. The course concentrates on immediate and remedial actions to clear common pistol malfunctions—such as click-no-bangs, stovepipes, and double feeds—performed under the stress and time pressure of a defensive encounter. In addition, the module develops single-handed shooting proficiency from multiple positions and presentations, including draws from concealment, so students can continue to engage threats effectively if one hand is injured or otherwise unavailable. Training culminates in realistic drills and assessments that reinforce fault recovery, resilience, and the ability to sustain controlled, accurate fire in adverse conditions.
